A One Day workshop showing you how to make your very own lined curtains!  You'll go away able to make curtains for the whole house (even a shower curtain for the bathroom) in gorgeous fabrics of your choice saving loads of pennies!  
IN THIS DRAPERY PANELS CLASS YOU’LL make a curtain panel while learning:
How to sew in a lining for fuller looking curtains, fade resistant and energy efficient
Matching pattern repeats for a wide curtain panel 
Mitered hems sewn with a blind stitch
How to sew and measure for your choice of rod pockets, tabs or grommets
Using buckram for pleats, grommets and gathering

Beginner level with knowledge of how to use a sewing machine.

Optional extras: 54” x 4” wide woven or non-woven buckram for a crisper looking top
Drapery weights to help curtains hang straighter
One package of 9/16” curtain grommet kit
Fabric and lining fabric such as:
63” cafe panel, 2 ¾ yard of fabric and lining
84” standard full length panel, 3 yards of fabric and lining
96” puddling length panel, 3 ¼ yards of fabric and lining
Fabric suggestions: Woven fabrics, that are at least 54” wide, found in home decor sections of fabric store, such as  cotton, silk, linen, polyester, velvet, acrylic, rayon, brocade, lace and voile. *If you’re new to sewing, I recommend starting with a basic medium-weight fabric such as cotton or a cotton-linen blend. Its straightforward texture makes it easy to work with.
