Bring to class:

Purchase the pattern of your choice: Vogue #V8646, or Cashmerette’s Appleton dress pattern. Both have multiple cup size options. I would suggest purchasing the pattern versus downloading a PDF, since this is a large pattern to have to tape together.

Please buy the appropriate amount of fabric for your size, based on the pattern information . Sew To Speak has several lovely knits that will work well for this class. The Vogue pattern can also be made in a light woven. Please email if you have questions on fabric choices.

Please bring all notions per the pattern notion section. Also:

  • Thread to match your fabric.

  • All items needed to cut and sew: bring your machine or reserve of of our class machines ($10/session)

Fusing tape and interfacing will be supplied.

  • Important: Please launder your fabric in the manner that you will clean the dress once it is made; we want any shrinkage to happen before the dress is cut and constructed. If wool knit, ask dry cleaners to steam your yardage, if washable, simply follow the fabric cleaning instructions.
