Learn to sew skirts. We have chosen the Fiore Skirt pattern by Closet Core because it is a chic, high-waisted A-line skirt with just the right amount of flare and volume. A beginner-friendly pattern with multiple variations, this elevated basic has tons of outfit potential.
Bring the pattern,
All Skirt Types: Laundered crisp woven fabrics such as linen, chambray, denim, twill, poplin, lightweight canvas, and structured cottons.
1.25 yards of lightweight non-stretch fusible interfacing
All-purpose polyester thread
Universal sewing machine needles
Marking tool
Pin and pin holder
Fabric shears or rotary cutter
Seam ripper
Your sewing machine and button hole presser foot for the wrap and button-front skirt
Notions vary according to skirt choice:
7” invisible zipper for the zippered back skirt
Two 1/2”-3/4” buttons for the wrap skirt
Six-eight 1/2” buttons for the button-front skirt
You’ll make an above-the-knee or below-the-knee length.
Choose from:
Simple Skirt with an invisible zippered back,
Asymmetrical wrap skirt with a single hip pocket,
Button-front with curved patch pockets.
Two 3-hour sessions
Group Class: $120
Private Class: $240
Prerequisite: You must have taken Sitch-Style-Create 1 or equivalent
The group class must have at least two registered participants to run. Our group classes are designed for shared learning in groups of up to four at a time.
We’ll email you a week before class if it doesn’t meet the 2-student minimum. You’ll have the option to switch to a private lesson, join the waiting list, move your credit to another class, or get a refund.”
