Sew an easy-to-wear jumpsuit with us this summer. We’ll use the Nova Jumpsuit pattern by True Bias to sew a jumpsuit that you’ll love to wear. This pattern has a flattering fit and a modern, on-trend look.
We’ll do a brief online shopping session together, then take a 2-week break to allow time for your fabric's delivery. Then we’ll get together for three 3-hour sessions to sew the jumpsuit.
The pattern comes in two size ranges: Sizes 0-18 and Sizes 14-30. Please compare your body measurements to the size ranges listed on the True Bias website (truebias.com) to determine which size range you should purchase. This pattern can be ordered from The Sewing Hive as a printed pattern, or you can purchase the .pdf version at TrueBias.com
Skill level: Advanced beginner. Completion of Stitch, Style, Create 1, and Stitch Style Create 2 or equivalent. Must have sewn at least two garments prior to attending this class.
Supplies Needed:
The Nova Jumpsuit pattern by True Bias is in the appropriate size range to match your body measurements. You must bring the sewing instructions to class.
Light to medium-weight knit fabrics such as jersey, Liverpool, double jersey, sweater knits, ponte, doubleknits, and lightweight sweatshirt fleece. Check the pattern for the required yardage for your size and style you’re choosing
Matching polyester thread
Fabric marking tool

Scissors and rotary cutter (optional)
Sewing Machine capable of zigzag stitches
Sewing machine needle appropriate for the knit you’ve selected (ballpoint, stretch, jersey)
Two 3-Hour Sessions
Cost: $200 for a two-person class. Your instructor will hold class once there are two registered. Your instructor will email you to arrange a time for everyone to attend.
Private Option is $350
Learn to sew your own clothing in this hands-on, in-person workshop. Flexible scheduling is available for private lessons or small groups.
