Sew What?! Guided Imagination After-School Sewing
Sew What? isn’t a class where everyone makes the same thing. They learn the basic techniques, then we let them express their creativity, guiding them to make it the way they want.
This is for the kid who colors outside the lines on purpose. No template, no
“wrong way to do it.” Just a machine, a pile of materials, and whatever’s
already living in their head.
New to the machine? First Stitches, our required intro-to-machine class is
included free before your sessions begin
(Handstitching basics are taught right inside Sew What, no separate class needed.)
HOW IT WORKS
Four sessions (BLOCK): we meet once a week, same small group the whole way
through. Every session opens with a quick technique — the real skill behind
that week’s project — then it’s open studio: use our materials, bring your
own twist, make it yours.
THIS BLOCK’S THEME: Back to School
