In this workshop, we will show you how to draft your own pattern for an A-line or Pencil skirt using your waist and hip measurements.
Choose a faced or a banded waistline and a side or back invisible zipper. You will also learn to line a skirt.
A-line and Pencil skirts are classic additions to anyone’s wardrobe, made from cotton-linen, Ponte, linen, denim, or brocade… the options are limitless.
Bring with you:
Bring 2 yards of laundered fashion fabric.

Bring 2 yards of the clothing lining material,
9” invisible zipper of matching color,
thread to match.
Bring all your sewing tools: machine, scissors, etc. We will supply paper and drafting tools.
This will be the first class of creating your own pattern! And a garment that you can make many times, in many fabrics
