In the patchwork pillow class, we will teach you the basics of piecing together fabrics. These techniques can be used in quilts, pillows, and clothing!
You will also learn how to put in a zipper as a closure for the pillow. These skills are great to build up your sewing acumen.

BRING TO CLASS:

Depending on the pillow size you wish to make, you will need various cotton quilting fabrics for the front. Based on my sample, at least 5+ fabrics (quilting fat quarters or 4” precuts would be great here) and 1/2 yard of cotton fabric for the backing.
A regular 18-inch zipper and thread.
A pillow insert of your choice. I used a standard bed pillow since I wanted to use this as a decorative sham pillow for a bed.
