Your instructor will walk you through each step as you learn to create
this classic and gender-neutral hoodie sweatshirt.
Hoodies are easy garments for those who want to learn how to sew their clothing.
YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO CREATE:
Kangaroo or side pockets, drawstring channels with button-hole or grommet openings, stretch-to-fit cuffs, and waistbands.
BRING TO CLASS:
Sewing machine with standard and buttonhole presser foot, ball-point needles (stretch or jersey), and all-purpose thread.
You may rent one of ours for $10 if you don't have a machine.
Suggested fabrics should be pre-laundered before class;
Sweatshirt, modal, cotton terri fleece, velour, or heavyweight jersey with a cotton blend: Please see the size chart on your pattern before purchasing fabric.
Seamwork’s Rudy PDF assembled or printed by a copy shop or Simplicity 9240:
Skill Level: Knowledge of how to sew and set up threads on a sewing machine and sewing with a pattern.
