Which Class is best for me?

This is the second blog posting on which class might be best for you. This Blog focuses on:

“Private Classes” versus" “Adult Skill Building”

“Mastering My Machine”, versus “Intro to Machine Sewing”

Private Classes: This is almost an administrative product. If you are already working with someone and need to add hours, this is the place to do it. It has their per hour rates. Just list the number of hours you will need and purchase. Normally there has been a discussion between instructor and you on time needed for the next session. There is also a brief listing on each instructors strong skills, but in no way listed all of them.

Adult Skill Building: This product will allow you to tailor what you would like to learn while working one on one with an instructor. You may wish to learn only a certain skill, say buttonholes, or shortening pants, etc.

Mastering My Machine: This product pairs you with our sewing machine guru Jackie. (supposedly she has too many machines at home?). Jackie will teach how all the different feet and other ‘gadgets’ that came in the box work and how they can actually make sewing easier. She also reviews tensions and very importantly, how to maintain your machine to keep it running longer.

Intro to Machine Sewing: This product is part of our most popular Beginning sewing series. If you are new to sewing and need to learn the basics of how your machine sews, this is a great class. The project that helps you work through these skills is making a pillowcase.

Hope this helps you when registering. If you get here and it’s not right for you, we can always modify the structure to keep you on your skill building track.
